Kristen Klatt currently serves as a third grade teacher. Her primary responsibilities include instruction and serving as the third grade team leader. She brings with her a passion for education and the ability to effectively lead a team. Prior to joining the LAE staff in 2014 as a kindergarten teacher, Kristen taught various grade levels (pre-k, kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd) in DeSoto ISD. She has been an educator for 16 years and has taught every grade level from pre-k to third grade.
She enjoys cooking and traveling in her spare time. She hopes to visit all 7 continents (she has been to three)!! She is also an avid sports fan and loves cheering on the Oklahoma Sooners, Green Bay Packers, and Dallas Stars.

Mrs. Belino currently serves as a third grade math and science teacher. Her primary responsibilities include implementing engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students. She made the move from Georgia in 2010 for a job opportunity. Prior to joining the LAE staff in 2015 as a teacher, Sara taught pre-k and 3rd grade at other schools. She and the students enjoy Morning Meetings, Mystery Doug Mondays and GoNoodle dance breaks during indoor recess. She encourages the children to justify their answers and to think about how their learning applies to their lives now.
Mrs. Belino enjoys hanging out with family, friends, and her husband - eating out, playing tennis, going bowling, catching up on shows, and reading.

Mrs. Hawkins-Hampton currently serves as a 3rd grade reading, writing, and social studies teacher. Her primary responsibilities include teaching and helping students grow. She brings with her a dedicated and passionate heart for seeing her students grow. She is a mentor at LAE and she also serves as a vertical leader. Prior to joining the LAE staff in 2015, she was a teacher in Dallas ISD and Duncanville ISD.
Mrs. Hampton has 3 kids and a wonderful husband. She loves going on vacations and spending time with her family.

Janet Muñoz has served as a third grade math and science teacher since 2014. She has taught in public school for 12 years and taught and/or tutored in private school for over 5 years. She brings with her an ability to help the full range of students with numerous strategies such as making her own concept songs, mnemonic devices, and physical motions/tactile with manipulatives. Her relational graces and funny nature make even the most reluctant learner motivated. Janet has also worked as a special education doing inclusion at L.A.E. for four years. She has experience working with students with various degrees of autism as well as learning, intellectual, and physical disabilities at L.A.E., Duncanville, and Desoto I.S.D.
Janet is married to Edward Muñoz and has three daughters. Two are in college at Texas A&M University-College Station; Victoria is a Visualization major and Abby is a Sports Management major. Caroline is a 9th grade student and is highly active in her church youth group. Janet has lived in Costa Rica, Columbia, the Philippines, and China. She enjoys being with family and friends and attending church.
