    Angela Conner currently teaches 2nd Grade English Language Arts and Social Studies. She has been a part of the LAE family for 11 years. Prior to teaching 2nd grade, Mrs. Conner taught 3rd Grade ELAR and Social Studies for 3 years. Also, she is the 2nd Grade Team Lead and a member of The Strategic Planning Committee.

    Mrs. Conner loves to experience the great outdoors! Her interests include gardening, hiking, fishing and horseback riding.

  • Katy Eley-Henderson

    2nd Grade Math & Science

    Katy Eley-Henderson currently serves as 2nd grade math and science teacher as well as kindergarten - 2nd grade science vertical team leader. She brings with her ability to problem solve. Prior to joining the LAE staff in 2008, she worked as a travel agent for BCD and Cendant Travel. Mrs. Eley-Henderson booked trips for businesses and their employees at a moment’s notice.

    She is married to Andrew Henderson and has a stepdaughter as well as a cat named Jack. She was adopted from Seoul, South Korea when she was eight years old. She considers herself blessed to have a biological and adopted family whom she loves. During her spare time, Mrs. Eley-Henderson likes spending time with her family and friends.

  • Maribeth Williams

    2nd Grade Teacher

     

    Education:
    Graduated from the University of North Texas in 2007 with a BAAS
    Received Teacher Certification through Region 11 Education Service Center in 2011

    Texas Educator Certification:
    Generalist EC-4 with ESL Endorsement

    Mrs. Williams currently serves as a first grade teacher and has been with LAE since 2011. Her primary responsibilities include providing a safe and welcoming learning environment where all students are successful. She brings with her extensive knowledge in educating the whole student, including learning differences and the social-emotional well-being of each child.

    Mrs. Williams is married to Frank and has two children, Emily and Colt. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cooking and traveling.

  • Oscar Duran

    2nd Grade ELAR/Social Studies

    Oscar Duran currently serves as a 2nd grade bilingual ELAR/SS teacher. He has been teaching at LAE since 2014. Prior to joining the LAE staff, he taught in Dallas ISD for 7 years. Besides teaching, he’s always helped his school by coaching teachers and leading parent workshops.

    Oscar Duran has been married for 5 years and enjoys travelling, reading, and listening to music. He’s a food lover and enjoys sweet treats.
